Pedal away!

A special exhibition on historic pedal cars
19th April 2008 - 5th October 2008

This delightful little special exhibition presents historic pedal cars for children from the period from 1920 to the 1950s. A pedal car is a specially designed, small-scale car for children, which like a bicycle, is moved by turning the pedals with muscle power. In the exhibition there are a number of quite exceptional rarities to admire: for example an “MG” pedal car from England dating from 1939 with opening bonnet, boot and doors. Or the “Hispano Suiza”, a Swiss one-off production from the 1930s; with a length of 158 cm, it is a particularly impressive exhibit.
