The North Friesian carpenter, Uwe Habermann, decided in 1993 to craft a miniature of the amber room to the scale of 1:12. After ten years of patient work, he succeeded in creating a unique treasure true to detail. Finished in 2003, it continues to impress even connoisseurs of the real amber room in Russia.

The Habermann miniature of the famous amber room will be shown in the Doll’s House Museum in Basel.
