The showpiece was displayed for the last time at the 1933 World Fair in Chicago. The original setting is considered missing, therefore the Doll's House Museum commissioned a replica to be made, based on old photos from the Steiff archives. The whole mechanism is identical to the original showpiece. The animals are the actual originals from the old 1928 showpiece.
