Humpty Dumpty

Circus
29th October 2000 - 27th May 2001

Starting in the fall of 2000 a variety of circuses made by the toy company A. Schoenhut (Philadelphia) will be on display for your wonderment. The "Humpty Dumpty Circus", produced between 1903 and 1935, was one of the most successful articles to be offered by this company. The individually available figures and animals are made of wood. They were first turned and then hand-painted. Since the arms and legs are articulated, the objects can be placed in a variety of positions.
