An invitation to passers-by

The display windows of the Toy Worlds Museum Basle are famous city-wide. They take passers-by on a brief journey to another world as they hurry past. Five themes are realised each year, oriented either to the season or to a current topic. One display window is always reserved for Christmas and one or two windows reflect the current special exhibition. The exhibits on display come in part from the museum’s collection. Attentive observers will find our mascots in each window display. The cheeky mice adopt the display window theme but portray it in their mouse world. Take a moment to enjoy the public works of art before or after your visit to the exhibition.
