Ice Palace

At the atmospheric Christmas Market on Barfüsser Square the World Toy Museum Basle entices you into a fairy-tale, bone-chilling and moving ice world from 27 November to 23 December 2014.

The Ice Palace, with its Ice Queen and her retinue, embedded in an icy, snowy winter landscape, reigns over everything: the Ice Queen oversees the hustle and bustle. In the ice grottos chimpanzees, rabbits and others are looking for glittering ice crystals and Meckis ride on polar bears through the cold landscape. The small donkey is exhaustingly moving his cart full of scintillating crystals.
